FounderWhile other kids were still playing with Tonka trucks in their backyards, Bill was already working on real heavy equipment deep in the redwood forests of Mendocino county. After settling in on the northern Sonoma coast with his young family nearly 30 years ago, he co-founded Timbercove Excavating and began his professional firefighting career. Now retired from CALFIRE, his sole focus has turned to Timbercove Excavating.

A fourth generation woodsman, there is no place TJ would rather be than our rustic stretch of the Sonoma coast. Like Bill, he was practically born operating a bull dozer. He takes pride in doing his part to maintain the roads, septic systems and forest health of our rural regions many homes, ranches, and agricultural plots.
